North Yorkshire Open Studios

North Yorkshire Open Studios is an annual event where artists open their studios direct to the public. With studios located across the county, from the remote hills of the Upper Dales to the suburban streets of Harrogate and York, to the rural North York Moors and Coast, visitors have the opportunity to visit unique and varied artist venues. I applied to take part in North Yorkshire Open Studios in a pop-up format, at our family farm in Wensleydale. The exhibition / studio space was created in a barn, in the location that had inspired so much of my work over the years. Over 15 years of work was showcased. This opportunity allowed me to look back over all the different phases of my practice, from degree work, prints from my time at 36 Lime Street, and up to the new pieces created recently.
